INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of the current property owner, Mr Sam Sohal, and the former property owner, Mrr, <br /> Zeb Khan, and in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental <br /> Health Division(PHS-EHD)directive dated 10 July 2000,Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc (AGE) <br /> has prepared the enclosed Excavation and Sampling Report for interim soil remediation performed <br /> at 1901 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> The purpose of the interim remediation was to remove hydrocarbon-impacted soil from the floor and <br /> sidewalls of the former underground storage tank (UST) excavation prior to installation of new <br /> USTs <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of UST sites <br /> 20. BACKGROUND <br /> • AGE has been informed that a gasoline service station and mini-mart have occupied the site for the <br /> past 30 to 40 years <br /> 2 1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located in the southern portion of the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, on the <br /> southwest corner of the intersection of South E1 Dorado Street and Fifth Street Land use of the <br /> surrounding properties is generally residential, with commercial use along South El Dorado Street <br /> Figure 1 shows the subject property which is located in the southeast quarter of Section 14, <br /> Township I North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (7 5 Minute United States <br /> Geological Survey(USGS) Topographic Series, Stockton West, California, photo revised 1987) at <br /> an elevation of 10 feet above mean sea level and in an area of very low topographic relief The <br /> regional slope of the area is relatively gentle and dips toward the west-southwest <br /> The site occupies approximately 13,761 square-feet and is listed as Parcel 19 on Map 08 on file in <br /> Book 165 (APN 165-080-19) of the San Joaquin County Tax Assessor's Office <br /> Most of the surface of Parcel 19 is paved with asphalt or is covered by a structure and gasoline <br /> dispenser islands The site is currently utilized as a gasoline fueling station The prominent features <br /> on the property are depicted in Figure 2 <br />
