EL DORADO STREET,
STOCKTON
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) Division of Financial
Assistance has received an application for the Orphan Site Cleanup Fund (OSCF) from
2154 S. EI Dorado Street Investors for 2154 S. EI Dorado Street, Stockton. This
application has been assigned file number B120. Please provide this number when
making any inquiries regarding this application.
San Joaquin County Environmental Health has been identified by the applicant as the
Lead Regulatory Agency to oversee the cleanup of contaminated soil and groundwater
from leaking petroleum underground storage tanks at the subject site. As the identified
Lead Regulatory Agency, you will receive copies of correspondence sent to the
applicant from the OSCF Program.
During our review process, OSCF Program staff will contact you either by telephone or
by e-mail to verify applicant information. Once the application review is complete, the
applicant will receive either an acceptance or rejection letter.
The OSCF program was created to encourage the cleanup of "brownfield" petroleum
underground storage tank contaminated sites where there is no financially responsible
party. These sites represent a special problem because they prevent and delay
community redevelopment.
The State Water Board has received federal stimulus money through the American
Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Leaking Underground Storage Tank (UST) Trust
Fund. The ARRA money will be sub awarded into OSCF grants where an applicant is
prepared to move forward with cleanup activities.
