INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr. Min Le , Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE ) has prepared this
Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan for the McBillin Real Estate Investment property,
located at 2154 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton , California (site) .This Work Plan provides
a description of the scope of work and procedures to be used for soil boring advancement,
monitoring well installation , soil and ground water sample collection and analysis and
boring abandonment. This plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground
storage tank ( UST) sites .
This Work Plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (SJCEHD) letter, dated 25 April 2011 (Appendix A) . The SJCEHD has
required this investigation to assess the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum
hydrocarbon impact to soil and ground water at the site. The location of the site is
presented on Figure 1 and a plan of the site with proposed soil boring locations is
presented on Figure 2 .
2.0 . SCOPE OF WORK
i Based on analytical data collected during underground storage tank removals at the site
(Appendix B ), additional soil and ground water investigation has been directed by the
I SJCEHD to define the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground
water.
I
The proposed scope of work will be performed in several phases (direct push soil and
E ground investigation ; lateral soil and ground water investigation ; and monitoring well
I
nstallations) . The following basic tasks are included :
• Permitting and pre-field work activities .
f • Advancement of soil borings for collection of soil and grab ground water samples.
k
• Advancement of additional borings to define the lateral extent of adsorbed and
dissolved phase contaminants . This scope of work will be performed if significant
4 impact is encountered during the initial phase of the investigation .
l • Monitoring well installation .
l
Well development and elevation survey.
• Report preparation .
;I
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Ip
F'
