INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Min Le , Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE ) has prepared this <br /> Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan for the McBillin Real Estate Investment property, <br /> located at 2154 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton , California (site) .This Work Plan provides <br /> a description of the scope of work and procedures to be used for soil boring advancement, <br /> monitoring well installation , soil and ground water sample collection and analysis and <br /> boring abandonment. This plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground <br /> storage tank ( UST) sites . <br /> This Work Plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJCEHD) letter, dated 25 April 2011 (Appendix A) . The SJCEHD has <br /> required this investigation to assess the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon impact to soil and ground water at the site. The location of the site is <br /> presented on Figure 1 and a plan of the site with proposed soil boring locations is <br /> presented on Figure 2 . <br /> 2.0 . SCOPE OF WORK <br /> i Based on analytical data collected during underground storage tank removals at the site <br /> (Appendix B ), additional soil and ground water investigation has been directed by the <br /> I SJCEHD to define the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground <br /> water. <br /> I <br /> The proposed scope of work will be performed in several phases (direct push soil and <br /> E ground investigation ; lateral soil and ground water investigation ; and monitoring well <br /> I <br /> nstallations) . The following basic tasks are included : <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities . <br /> f • Advancement of soil borings for collection of soil and grab ground water samples. <br /> k <br /> • Advancement of additional borings to define the lateral extent of adsorbed and <br /> dissolved phase contaminants .
