GTI notes in the
WP that data from this investigation will be used develop an updated SCM, which will
include contaminant distribution, both vertically and laterally, and which will be used to
calculate a mass estimate. The SCM should include a set of cross-sections with at least
one cross-section along the inferred plume axis and.two or three transverse to the plume
axis showing lithology and contaminant concentrations between Castle Motors and the
Shell site. Additionally, GTI proposes investigating soil vapor intrusion potential though
analysis of existing data sets from wells that are in closest proximity to the existing
inhabited buildings, combined with new data that will be gathered from this investigation.
The EHD approves the data, analysis, but may require collection and analysis of soil gas
samples at later time.
The EHD approves the revised WP. Submit to the EHD a well permit application and
$89.00 permit fee, and $315.00 inspection fee for each parcel drilled and encroachment
permit for the boring(s) in the public right of way.
