EL DORADO ST. , STOCKTON CA
SITE CODE 2080
Prepared by
Wm. J Hunter & Associates
August, 1995
PURPOSE OF WORK
In September, 1994, one (1) soil boring was placed in the
approximate center of a previously removed waste oil tank on the
property to evaluate minor soil contamination encountered during
prior investigative work conducted in 1993 . The soil boring was
programmed to go to 40 ' to determine the vertical extent of heavy
hydrocarbons detected by that earlier work. Soil contamination
was encountered at 26 ' bgl , and was still present at 401 , the
original programmed depth Since this was below recorded
groundwater depths during the past 10 years, it was decided to
continue drilling and convert the soil boring to a monitoring
well The well was completed on September 30 , water samples
taken on October 3, 1994 revealed significant levels of BTEX &
TPH G. The results of the laboratory analysis of those soil &
water samples are summarized on TABLES VIII & IX. Details of
that work is covered in the WJH report titled "Interim Report &
Results of Groundwater Investigation, " dated October 31, 1994 .
The County EHD wrote to Mr Valentine on February 27, 1995 ,
requiring that two (2) additional groundwater monitoring wells be
placed on the property in order to obtain gradient data &
evaluate the extent of the contamination encountered during the
above work. A copy of that letter is included as EXHIBIT A The
two wells were placed on June 1, 1995 ; the results of that work
are detailed in this report
PROPERTY LOCATION:
2315 No. El Dorado Avenue, Stockton, CA
PROPERTY OWNER.
Stephen Valentine, 6232 Hemet Ave. , Stockton, CA 95207
CONTACT PERSON
Steve Valentine, (209) 477-3471
1
1
