ELDORADO STREET, STOCKTON
SITE CODE 2080
Prepared by
' Wm. J. Hunter & Associates
February 14 , 1996
1 PURPOSE OF WORK:
Results of laboratory analyses of groundwater samples obtained
from three (3) monitoring wells placed on the property in 1994 &
1 1995 indicate the possibilyty of an additional source of contami-
nation caused by leakage from the dispensing pumps or product
lines .
Prior investigative work had indicated that the removed gasoline
UST' s may have caused some of the soil and water contamination,
although soil samples taken beneath the UST' s did not reveal any
gasoline compounds . Soil contamination was encountered at a
shallower depth in MW-3 than in any of the four soil borings or
the two monitoring wells; it is the closest to the pump island.
Groundwater contamination is present in all three monitoring
wells, but is significantly higher in MW-3 , although it is not in
a downgradient position. These two factors, (shallow soil
' contamination & high levels of BTEX in the water, ) suggest that
the pump island may be the mayor source .
This workplan is for the purpose of investigating whether or not
' the dispensing pumps and/or product lines have contributed to the
gasoline compounds found beneath the site, and attempt to deter-
mine the limits of soil & groundwater contamination at the north-
west, southwest, and southeast corners of the property.
PROPERTY LOCATION:
' 2315 No. E1 Dorado Avenue, Stockton, CA
PROPERTY OWNER & CONTACT PERSON:
' Stephen Valentine, 6232 Hemet Ave . , Stockton, CA 95207 , (209)
477-3471
1 LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
The property consists of approximately 1/10th acre, located on
' the southwest corner of No . E1 Dorado Ave. & Castle Street .
The Assessor' s parcel number is 125-100-17 .
1
