El Dorado St.'
Stockton, CA
!. Project No. 723.2
March 10, 2003
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report summarizes the 4"' Quarter 2002 round of groundwater rnonitoring and testing
that took place on December 17, 2002. The laboratory results indicate that detectable 1
concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in seven of eight monitoring wells on site.
The groundwater elevation averaged --24.52 feet mean sea level in the wells and this
corresponds to about 35 feet below grade surface (bgs). This elevation is an increase of
' approximately 0.1 feet since the September 9, 2002 monitoring event. Groundwater
gradient calculations show that groundwater flow is N71°E at 0.0053 ft/ft. This is
consistent with the site's historical directions that have been predominantly to the northeast.
r
1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING
1.1 Hydrogeology of Site
A site-specific groundwater gradient and bearing were calculated from computer-generated
contours. The groundwater was flowing N7 1'F at a gradient of 0.0053 ft/ft. The average
ti
elevation of groundwater at the site was 24.52 feet below mean sea level.
