El Dorado St.
' Stockton, CA
Protect No 723 2
October 29, 2004
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
' This report summarizes the 3d Quarter 2004 round of groundwater monitoring and testing
that took place on August 6, 2004
The laboratory results indicate that detectable concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon
compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in all
six shallow/intermediate monitoring wells on site On site deep well MW-101 intermittently
' contains contaminants and it contained low levels of BTEX and TPH-G for the event On
site deep well MW-201 did not contain contamination above the laboratory reporting limits
which supports a conclusion that the initial contamination detected in the well was a drilling
' artifact
All three intervals of cross gradient well set MW-7/107/207 did not contain contaminant
' concentrations above the laboratory reporting limits the second consecutive event All three
intervals of the down gradient well set MW-8/1081208 contained BTEX and TPH-G All
' three intervals of the up gradient well set MW-91109/209 did not contain contaminant
concentrations above the laboratory reporting limits
The groundwater elevation averaged —27 43 feet mean sea level in the wells and this
corresponds to about 37 feet below grade surface (bgs) This elevation is a decrease of
approximately 3 71 feet since the May 2004 monitoring event Groundwater gradient
calculations show that groundwater flow is N52°E at 0 0073 ft/ft This is the most northerly
