ENVIROWENT HEAETIA <br /> PERIIAI/SERMLES <br /> April 1, 2005 <br /> Mr Jeffrey Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Fourth Quarter 2004 Groundwater Monitoring Report a Work Plan <br /> Addendum <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 2320 El Dorado Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136145 <br /> Incident No 97471966 rv"_ f�J <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalt of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) in accordance with the quarterly reporting <br /> requirements of 23 CCR 2652d <br /> FOURTH QUARTER 2004 ACTIVITIES <br /> On October 4, 2004, Cambria submitted a Site Investigation Work Plan proposing that Cambria <br /> review the environmental case file for the Steve & Gene Service Station (Steve & Gene) located at <br /> 2315 El Dorado Street in Stockton, upgradient of the subject site, and conduct a site investigation <br /> Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California gauged and sampled all site wells and <br /> prepared a summary table of field gauging and laboratory analytical data As requested by Shell, <br /> groundwater samples from wells MW-1 and MW-2 were analyzed for trichloroethene (TCE) and <br /> tetrachloroethene (PCE) in addition to the existing sampling protocol The groundwater sample <br /> from well MW-1 contained 350 parts per billion (ppb) TCE and 310 ppb PCE, and the sample <br /> from MW-2 contained 390 ppb TCE and 300 ppb PCE Cambria prepared a site vicinity/well <br /> survey map (Figure 1) and a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map (Figure 2) <br /> Blame's report, presenting the laboratory report, is included as Appendix A <br /> Cambria Cambria conducted the file review on December 13, 2004 Upon reviewing the data, Cambria <br /> Environmental discovered that there is a groundwater monitoring well for the Steve & Gene site in the sidewalk <br /> Technology,Inc <br /> adjacent to the subject site After reviewing groundwater data from both sites, Cambria concluded <br /> Hollis street that the proposed site investigation was not appropriate at this time Cambria notified San Joaquin <br /> Suite A <br /> Emeryville CA 94608 <br /> Tel(510)420-0700 <br /> Fax(510)420-9170 <br />
