11/26-27102 On this date the UST's were removed. The redwood walls were <br /> "surrounded'by bricks and the redwood bottom had-a'cement pad <br /> underneath it. One soil sample was collected from the soil between the <br /> .redwood bottom and the cement pad {UST1-100} and the concentrations <br /> of total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel {TPH-d}were 28,000 mg/kg. <br /> The other soil samples were collected beneath the cement pads for the <br /> UST's and the concentrations of TPH-d were 1400 to 8300 mg/kg. ; <br /> According to the EHD inspection notes these samples were collected at y- <br /> about 20 feet. <br /> 12/02/02 . An unauthorized release report and a notification of hazardous waste <br /> discharge were filed on this date. <br /> 01/09/03 The responsible party was seat a notice of.responsibility letter on this <br /> date and the site was placed in the local oversight program. <br /> 02/20/03 On this date three monitoring wells were installed at the site. This work is <br /> documented in Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Report dated <br /> 418103. <br /> 05/12/03 On this date geoprobe PB20 was advanced in the location of the former <br /> UST's to define the vertical extent of.the contamination. This work is <br /> documented in Quarterly Report— Second Quarter 2003 dated 4/30/04. <br /> 09/13/04 The date of the Closure Summary Report. There has been no detected <br /> contamination in-the samples from the monitoring wells. The soil <br /> contamination is defined. Request closure of the site. <br /> 06/27/05 The date of;,the .EHD letter requesting'further information prior to <br /> determining.:that the site should be closed and pointing out that the <br /> contamination found is from both UST and non UST sources. <br /> i <br /> k <br />
