0" <br /> i <br /> - 1 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> Field equipment, truck-mounted augers, soil sampling tubes, and other tools will be thoroughly <br /> decontaminated before being introduced to field sampling areas. Plastic sheets and paper <br /> towels will be placed beneath sampling tools and containers at each sample locality to preclude <br /> accidental cross-contamination of sampling supplies with surface soil and debris. Soil samples <br /> will be labeled, placed in an iced cooler, and transported under chain-of-custody to an analytical <br /> I <br /> laboratory. <br /> Exelchem Environmental Laboratory, a California-certified analytical laboratory located in <br /> l Sacramento, will perform the specified chemical analyses. Exelchem will provide QAIQC data <br /> related to laboratory protocols. These documents will include surrogate recovery data and <br /> analytical charts that describe routine application of spikes and matrix spike duplicates.
