I
' 1
(
Site Investigation Work Plan
Nella Oil Station#21,40052 Highway 41, Oakhurst, California
2.4 Potential Exposure Analysis
TPH-G and BTEX constituents can create an exposure risk in certain circumstances through
volatilization and vapor intrusion from shallow soils and groundwater. Benzene is generally the
constituent of greatest concern in these circumstances; however, benzene was only identified
from P-2 at 35 feet bgs at 30.7 ppb. The depth restriction and level of benzene present in the
sample collected from the site are not significant enough to indicate a volatilization risk.
2.4.1 Sensitive Receptor Survey
i
In accordance with Section 2654(b)(2), Article 5, Chapter 16, Division 3, Title 23 of the
California Code of Regulations, WRM will prepare a sensitive_receptor surveyforlhesite - !,
vicinity, within 2,000-feet of the site.
