center on gasoline, BTEX, oxygenates and diesel, all of which have been detected in MW-4. <br /> 5.0 SURVEY OF WELLS <br /> A survey of domestic, municipal, agricultural, industrial and other wells within a 2000 ft. radius <br /> of the site was completed in January 1999, reported in the Work Plan dated January 28 , 1999, <br /> repeated in the Work Plan dated May 20, 2000, and repeated again below. <br /> A survey of domestic, municipal, agricultural, industrial and any other wells within a 2000 foot <br /> radius of the site (Figure 4) was conducted by EI' s subcontractor, Helmick and Lerner. <br /> Additionally, EI contacted municipal water suppliers, nearby industries and the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division to complete the survey of wells <br /> within 2000 feet of 3105 South El Dorado Street. It was determined that California Water <br /> Services does not have municipal wells within this radius. <br /> EI contacted the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division and <br /> reviewed the soil and groundwater files for Cove Contractors, Inc. and Heinz USA, it was <br /> determined that Cove Contractors, Inc. (3242 South El Dorado Street) has eight (8) groundwater <br /> monitoring wells and Heinz USA (2800 South California) has none (0). Cove Contractors, Inc. <br /> is an abandoned site. Also, after a review of well permits at the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division, Cutter Lumber (3430 South El Dorado Street) <br /> was found to contain five (5) groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> The survey of drinking wells was conducted at the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division by locating the APN numbers for the property within 2000 feet <br /> of 3105 South El Dorado Street and obtaining the situs address. These addresses were then <br /> compared to California Water Services for water hook-up. All property that was not on the <br /> California Water Services' List was then compared with the well permits for the area. <br /> Residences at 3236 Fairmont Avenue and 3377 Fairmont Avenue were determined to have <br /> drinking wells. The residence of 3236 Fairmont Avenue has a well constructed of 6-5/8 inch <br /> well casing, drilled to a depth of 123 feet with a grout seal at 50 feet. The residence at 3377 <br /> Fairmont Avenue has a well constructed with 6 inch casing and a I horsepower pump. This <br /> II residence is also supplied with water by California Water Services. No information regarding <br /> the depth of this well or grout seal is available. <br /> i <br /> I <br /> 4 <br />
