Please submit these reports for samples collected in March and September
2012 to the EHD and GeoTracker immediately.
In the most recent five-year review summary report, dated 06 February 2012, the SWRCB
Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund (CUF) concurred with the EHD that free product
should continue to be removed at this site. The EHD does not have current data from 2012 that
documents the amount of free product being removed, nor the frequency of the removal. Based
on the Report of Investigation of Oil Removal from MW-2, dated 18 January 2012, the EHD
directs that free product be removed monthly from MW-2 and the quantity of floating product
removed each month be reported in the semi-annual reports.
Based on historical groundwater analytical data, the EHD approves the removal of MW-3 from
the wells being sampled at this site. Continue to collect depth-to-water measurements from
MW-3 at each sampling event to determine the groundwater flow direction.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this letter, please contact Vicki
McCartney at (209) 468-9852, or by email at vmccartney@sjcehd.com.
Sincerely,
l%G4GG—
f 1 G
Victoria L.
