1 30 FINDINGS 1+ �• 3.1 Groundwater Level Measurements As measured on 22 December 1999, groundwater was present at a depth of 29 92 ft bte (below top of casing) in MW-1 and at a depth of 30 40 ft btc in MW-3 On 27 January 2000, the groundwater level in the two (2) groundwater monitoring wells were again measured by EI The groundwater was present at a depth of 28 70 btc in MW-1 and at a depth of 28 60 btcs in MW-3 This limited data indicates a southerly flow at a gradient of 0 01 ft/ft on 22 December 1999 The gradient dropped to 0 0036 ftlft on 27 January 2000 The groundwater was measured on 20 April 2000 and found to be at a depth of 25 62, 25 99 and 1 25 55 feet below top of casing (btc) (MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 respectively) The groundwater direction of flow was calculated to be southeast at a gradient of 0 0027 ft/ft The groundwater was again measured on 26 July 2000 and found to be at a depth of 28 00, 28 25 and 27 90 feet below top of casing (btc) (MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 respectively) The groundwater direction of flow was calculated to be southeast at a gradient of 0 0031 ft/ft iThe water level dropped significantly in the past quarter The gradient remains low { 1 Table 1.
