QUARTER DATE <br /> First Quarter 2006 264un-2006 <br /> 7 OlntrodUctlon <br /> 1 1 Scope of Work <br /> 1 1 1 Environeenng Inc (EI)has been retained by California Tank Lines, Inc (CTL)to provide <br /> professional environmental services at 3105 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, CA(the Site) <br /> The location of the Site is shown on Figures 1 and 2 This report documents the first <br /> quarter of groundwater sampling conducted at the Site on 29 March 2006 The period <br /> covered in this report is from January 2006 to March 2006 <br /> 12 Monitoring Activities Performed <br /> 1 2 1 Groundwater monitoring and sampling at the Site during this quarter took place on 29 March <br /> 2006 This quarter's sampling included the following <br /> • Groundwater elevation measurements in all wells <br /> • Testing for natural attenuation indicators of groundwater samples, including pH, <br /> conductivity, and temperature <br /> • Removal of free product in MW-2 <br /> • Quarterly groundwater sampling of monitor wells MWA, MW-2, MW-3,and MW-4 <br /> • Laboratory analysis of ground water samples for <br /> Volatile Organic Compounds [benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes <br /> (BTEX)], Fuel Oxygenates[methyl-tert-butyl ether(MTBE), di-isopropyl ether <br /> (DIPS), ethyl-tertiary-butyl ether(EtBE), tertiary-amyl-methyl ether(TAME), tertiary- <br /> butanol (TBA), 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB), 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA12)], and TPH- <br /> gasoline by EPA Method 82606 Volatile Organic Compounds by Gas - <br /> Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) <br /> —� Total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel and motor ods(TPH-diesel and TPH-oil)by <br /> Method LUFT GC/MS <br /> 1 2 2 The locations of all monitor wells as well as historical boreholes are shown on Figure 3 <br /> Appendix A provides a historical summary of field activities at the site and Appendix B <br /> contains this quarter's original Well Purging and Sampling Documentation The laboratory <br /> results of the groundwater analyses for the current monitoring period as well as historical <br /> results are shown on Table 2 Laboratory Analytical Reports and the Chain-of-Custody Form <br /> are provided in Appendix C <br /> 2 0Site <br /> 21 Description <br /> 21 1 The site is located in the southern part of the City of Stockton, California at 370 55'7 67" <br /> latitude and 1210 16'43 45"longitude (Figures 1 and 2) The site is an essentially level <br /> commercial trucking facility,which contains an office building, two truck maintenance shops, <br /> a truck-washing facility,a small above-ground storage tank compound, a vehicle fueling <br /> facility and a large parking area for tank trailers <br /> 3 0Geology <br /> 31 Description <br /> 31 1 The site is situated in the northern part of the San Joaquin Valley, in an area underlain by <br /> CONFIDENTIAL <br />
