Sample collection activities will progress from the least affected area to the <br /> most affected area <br /> The following steps present procedures for the several activities which comprise <br /> groundwater sample acquisition These activities will be performed in the same order <br /> = as presented below Exceptions to this procedure will be noted below <br /> E <br /> µ_a <br /> t <br /> 1 v—.— 3 ♦..a r« <br /> '♦Y F ~ir. <br /> Decontamination Procedures <br /> Portions of sampling and test equipment which will contact the sample will be <br /> thoroughly cleaned before use for sampling This will include the interface probe and <br /> other equipment or portions thereof which may be immersed T he procedure for <br /> cleamng non-dedicated equipment is given below <br /> r—a yi♦ - -r'y'a <br /> 1 Clean with potable water and decontamination detergent <br /> _ __: 2 Rinse with potable water <br /> � • _ tW . <br /> 3 Air dry the equipment prior to use <br /> --m W Any deviations from these procedures will be documented below <br /> Laboratory-supplied sample containers will be cleaned and sealed by the laboratory <br /> before shipping The type of container provided and the method of container cleaning <br /> should be in the laboratory's permanent record of the sampling event <br /> Sampling equipment to be disposed of after use will be cleaned with potable water and <br /> decontamination detergent before disposal as solid waste Rinse water will be stored <br /> in properly labeled 55-gallon drums for proper disposal, pending receipt of laboratory <br /> ' results of groundwater analyses <br /> 3 <br />
