• This proposal includes costs for removal and off-site disposal of two (2) drums of
drill cutting and decontamination waste. The costs assume that the IDW generated
will be classified as non-hazardous waste. The IDW will be disposed of at an
appropriate permitted facility in accordance with applicable regulations; and
• Preparing a Limited Subsurface Investigation Report documenting the methods,
procedures, field and analytical results, and presenting applicable conclusions and
recommendations. The summary report will include a comparison of the results
with applicable regulatory criteria and guidance values; a site plan with sampling
locations; and completed subsurface logs including PID measurements, sample
intervals, and soil descriptions.
Nova proposes to invoice project expenses on a lump sum basis, unless specified otherwise,
in accordance with the above-referenced cost estimate. This cost estimate assumes a
standard 7-day turnaround time for laboratory analytical results.
This proposal assumes that Level D safety precautions are adequate for all work performed
at the Site. A health and safety plan will be developed prior to mobilization, based on these
assumptions. Additionally, Nova requests that the client provide available as-built plans or
similar documents including the location(s) of underground utilities and structures prior to
commencement of field activities.
SCHEDULE
Nova will proceed with the scope of work immediately upon signed authorization and site
access. It is anticipated that the fieldwork will require three (3) days on Site.
A verbal notification of the laboratory analytical findings will be provided within two (2)
business days of the laboratory results receipt, followed by the Limited Subsurface
Investigation report. It is anticipated that the entire scope of work will be completed
within 25 to 30 business days of written authorization. This schedule assumes that San
Joaquin County drilling permit approval will be received within 10 business days of
authorization.
