PEGASUS GROUP
RECEIVB
August 7 , 1992 AUG 1 1 1992
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERM] /:SLR,y -r
Pamela Violet
San Jaoquin County
Environmental Health Department
PO Box 20019
Stockton, CA 95201
RE: Village West Marina
Dear Ms. Violet:
By now you should have received the final group of test data in
respect to the tank removal at Village West Marina. A report
completed by WW Erwin on July 17 , 1992 appears to indicate that we
have no contamination of significance along the product lines at
Village West Marina. Further review of the report indicated that
the ground water in the general area of the tank is felt to be
approximately 60 feet below sea level .
With these findings we would propose that we remove the
contaminated soil in the bottom of the hole where the tanks were
buried, have the area re-tested and filled with clean rock and top
soil . If this is satisfactory with you we would like to proceed
with this work in the next 30 days. If I do not hear from you I
will assume that this solution is satisfactory and we will begin
work immediately. Thank you again for your past and future
cooNeration.
Sincer
, ela
tv
DWD/mcm
1840 San Miguel Dr., Suite 100 0 Walnut Creek, CA 94596 ■ (510) 930-0810 ■ Fax 256-0300
