Work Plan Addendum - April 2001 • PACIFIC PRIDE - SOUTH EL DORADO STREET 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California 1 0 INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this work plan addendum for cone penetrometer testing (CPT) for the site located at 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1, a plan of the site is Illustrated on Figure 2 On 10 August 1999, the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)directed by letter that the vertical extent of petroleum contamination be defined in both soil and ground water at the site Based on ground water sampling data collected from the ongoing investigation, the horizontal extent of dissolved hydrocarbons in First Water is not fully defined east of the site while the vertical extent is not defined in any direction Therefore, the purpose of this proposed investigation is to delineate the vertical and horizontal extent of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon-impact and to characterize the geological and hydro-geological framework on and off-site This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures for CPT soil boring advancement and grab ground water sample collection and analysis This work plan is prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites 2.0. BACKGROUND The site is located at 3147 South El Dorado Street, approximately 200 feet south of the intersection of El Dorado Street and Ivy Avenue The site is located in a topographically flat area at an elevation between 10 and 15 feet above mean sea level in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is in the northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 1 North,Range 6 East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968,photo revised 1987) 21 SITE DESCRIPTION The site is presently vacant,but was previously operated as a card-lock fueling station One 10,000- gallon diesel UST, two 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs, dispensers and one structure were formerly located on the property 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL On 04 September 1998, one 10,000-gallon diesel UST and two 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs and • associated fuel dispensers and product piping were removed from the site Laboratory analysis of soil Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc
