Work Plan Addendum - April 2001 <br /> • PACIFIC PRIDE - SOUTH EL DORADO STREET <br /> 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> 1 0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared this work plan addendum for cone penetrometer testing (CPT) for the site <br /> located at 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California The location of the site is illustrated <br /> on Figure 1, a plan of the site is Illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> On 10 August 1999, the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health <br /> Division(PHS-EHD)directed by letter that the vertical extent of petroleum contamination be defined <br /> in both soil and ground water at the site Based on ground water sampling data collected from the <br /> ongoing investigation, the horizontal extent of dissolved hydrocarbons in First Water is not fully <br /> defined east of the site while the vertical extent is not defined in any direction Therefore, the <br /> purpose of this proposed investigation is to delineate the vertical and horizontal extent of dissolved <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon-impact and to characterize the geological and hydro-geological framework <br /> on and off-site This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures for CPT <br /> soil boring advancement and grab ground water sample collection and analysis This work plan is <br /> prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)guidelines <br /> for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 3147 South El Dorado Street, approximately 200 feet south of the intersection <br /> of El Dorado Street and Ivy Avenue The site is located in a topographically flat area at an elevation <br /> between 10 and 15 feet above mean sea level in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is in the <br /> northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 1 North,Range 6 East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian <br /> (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968,photo revised 1987) <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is presently vacant,but was previously operated as a card-lock fueling station One 10,000- <br /> gallon diesel UST, two 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs, dispensers and one structure were formerly <br /> located on the property <br /> 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> On 04 September 1998, one 10,000-gallon diesel UST and two 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs and <br /> • <br /> associated fuel dispensers and product piping were removed from the site Laboratory analysis of soil <br /> Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc <br />
