Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report <br /> PACIFIC PRIDE <br /> ' 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton,California <br /> ' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises, Inc ,Advanced <br /> ' GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report <br /> (PIER)for 3147 South El Dorado Street(the site), Stockton,California The scope of work included <br /> the advancement of four soil probe bonngs and the collection and analysis of soil and ground water <br /> samples The location of the site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figure 1, major features on <br /> the site and soil probe boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This investigation was performed in accordance with the guidelines of the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and by the Central Valley <br /> ' Regional Water Quality Control Board for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) saes <br /> ' 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> In September 1998, three USTs and associated fuel dispensers and product piping were removed <br /> from the site Based on field observations and analytical results of soil samples collected during the <br /> tank removals,the PHS-EHD directed by letter that a subsurface investigation be performed at the <br /> site to delineate the vertical and horizontal extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impact In accordance <br /> with PHS-EHD directives, procedures for a subsurface investigation were outlined in the Site <br /> Investigation Work Plan, dated 19 January 1999 and approved by the PHS-EHD by letter on I I <br /> February 1999 <br /> 21 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at 3147 South El Dorado Street,approximately 200 feet south of the intersection <br /> of El Dorado Street and Ivy Avenue The site is located in a topographically flat area at an elevation <br /> between 10 and 15 feet above mean sea level in Stockton, California(Figure 1) The site is in the <br /> northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 1 North,Range 6 East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian <br /> (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1987) <br /> The site is presently vacant However,the site was previously operated as a card-lock fueling station <br /> One 10,000-gallon diesel UST,two 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs,dispensers and one structure were <br /> formerly located on the property <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnwonmenlal,Inc <br />
