Soil probe <br /> boring locations are depicted with the enclosed Figure 1 - Site Plan. Furthermore, the following <br /> revisions are an addendum to the work plan dated 18 February 1997. <br /> • A total of two soil probe borings will be advanced at an approximate 30° angle (Figure 2) <br /> beneath the northern and southern underground storage tanks (USTs). Soil samples will be <br /> collected at approximately 20 feet below site grade and analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline and diesel (TPH-g and TPH-d), volatile aromatics <br /> (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes: BTEX) and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> in accordance with proper EPA methods. <br /> • A total of two soil probe borings will be advanced at each end of the "middle UST"at an <br /> approximate 30° angle (Figure 3). Soil samples will be collected at approximately 20 feet <br /> below site grade and analyzed for TPH-g and TPH-d, BTEX and MTBE in accordance with <br /> proper EPA methods. <br /> • A total of two vertical soil probe borings will be advanced near the west and east dispenser <br /> islands.
