B. Bulk Storage Tanks/Secondary Containment
o Tank Compatibility with its Contents
The aboveground tanks are double walled and constructed of welded, stainless steel in
accordance with API Standards 620 and 651 and are compatible with their contents.
Contents of the ASTs are listed in Table 1. The ASTs are located within a Tank Building
with a containment volume of approximately 1.4,000 gallons. The flow direction from the
Tank Building is toward a bermed concrete loading/unloading area with a containment
volume of approximately 28,000 gallons. The drainage in the loading/unloading area flows
through a sand/oil separator and the curb inlet will be covered and sealed in case of a release.
o Drainage of Rainwater
All buildings on at the facility are roofed and rainwater is directed to the storm drains.
