Page 6 <br /> Soil Boring Installation Work Plan <br /> Cutter Lumber Site <br /> 3422 S El Dorado,Stockton <br /> Project No 443 2 <br /> November 3,1995 <br /> I2.2 Soil Sampling and Analyses <br /> All soil samples will be screened using field methods by observing discoloration and <br /> organic vapor meter reading Samples will be collected at 5 foot intervals and <br /> preserved for possible analysis. <br /> IAt least one soil sample from each boring, will be submitted to Sherwood <br /> Laboratories of Hilmar (State Certified Laboratory #1400) for benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX by method EPA 8020), and gasoline and diesel <br /> range petroleum hydrocarbons analyses (TPH-G & D) The detection limits for the <br /> BTBX analysis is 3.0 µg/kg and 01 mg/kg for TPH-Gasoline A Chain of Custody <br /> will be completed for all samples collected and tracked to ensure sample integrity <br /> 23 Water Well Survey <br /> The domestic water well will be dismantled by removing the pump and tubing from <br /> the well. This work will be performed by Osterberg & Stewart (Contractors Lic <br /> 446670) of Modesto After the pump and down hole equipment are removed, the <br /> well will be temporarily capped <br /> After the well has been allowed to settle for 24 to 36 hours, a down-hole TV camera <br /> owned and operated by Welenco of Stockton will be used to investigate the <br /> construction and condition of the well. The well will then be welded closed pending <br /> permanent abandonment or other disposition <br /> 3.0 REPORTING <br /> The information gathered during this phase of work will be presented in a report <br /> which will include the results of sample analyses The report will be signed by a <br /> registered professional geologist responsible for the work Copies of the report will <br /> be forwarded to both the appropriate County and State regulatory agencies <br /> I <br /> 1 <br />
