• Bank of Stockton - Cutter Lumber Site Page 6
Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report
Project No. 102.2
- May 13, 2005
3.0 DISCUSSION
3.1 Discussion of Data
Field and analytical data results are summarized in Tables 1 and 2 and
illustrated in Figures 3 through 5.
I
ti The contour map of the groundwater surface (Figure 3) suggests that the flow of
groundwater is to the northeast, and appears generally consistent with
historical norms. Over the past quarter the groundwater elevation has risen
about 3 feet from the prior monitoring event.
i
Over the years, the contaminant concentrations have displayed a gradual
downward trend in all of the wells except MW-8B and MW-9. The past several
events suggest, however, that the contaminant plume has migrated to the east
sufficiently to be detectable in MW-10, although the TPH concentration in this
sampling event is much reduced from that of the prior event.
3.2 Future Work Schedule
Quarterly groundwater monitoring will continue. Construction of the remedial
system is complete. Continuous operation of the new SVEIAS remedial system
commenced in February.
■
r
R .
2937 Veneman Ave.,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
