Introduction <br /> This document is the site-specific health and safety plan (HSP) covering the soil and <br /> groundwater sampling field work associated with the attached Work Plan. This plan describes <br /> measures designed to assure worker protection from adverse exposure to site contaminants or <br /> wastes and other potential hazards. <br /> Project Background <br /> The subject site, Cutter Lumber Products, is a manufacturer of wood pallets. Formerly it was the <br /> site of a grain mill engaged in manufacturing food products. It operated a cluster of 5 USTs. <br /> Since 1991, when a leak was discovered, the site has been the target of a remedial investigation, <br /> but the investigation has been deemed complete and has been approved for closure.
