AZURE ENVIRONMENTAL
Apnl 30, 1999 AZ145-001
I
FIRST QUARTER 1999
' GROUND-WATER MONITORING REPORT
January 1 through March 31, 1999
Manna Pro Facility
IStockton, California
1.0 INTRODUCTION
IThis First Quarter 1999 Ground-Water Monitoring Report is submitted on behalf of Manna Pro
Corporation C"Manna Pro") for the facility at 4004 South El Dorado Street in Stockton,
' California ("the Site", Figures 1 and 2) This report presents the results of ground-water
monitoring performed at the Site for the period of January 1 through March 31, 1999 This
report also contains a technical status summary of the work completed at the Site during the
' quarterly period and work anticipated to be performed during April through June, 1999
2.0 DESCRIPTION OF GROUND-WATER MONITORING PROGRAM
' Theround-water monitoring program at the Site consists of the following activities
g gP g g
. • Quarterly collection of ground-water level measurements from monitoring wells
G Quarterly collection and laboratory analysis of ground-water samples from monitoring wells,
in accordance with the monitoring schedule in Table 1
G Quarterly submittal of ground-water monitoring reports
3.0 GROUND-WATER MONITORING RESULTS
3.1 Ground-Water Elevations and Flow Direction
Water-level measurements and calculated ground-water elevations were collected from
monitoring wells at the Site on February 25, 1999 and are summarized in Table 2 Ground-water
' elevations from Site monitoring wells were used to construct potentiometric contours for shallow-
zone sediments A water table elevation contour map for the shallow ground-water zone is
illustrated in Figure 3
' Ground-water level data indicate the depth to ground water measured in on-site wells on February
25, 1999 vaned between 24 75- and 27 11-feet below grade During the period between October
1992 and February 1999, the depth to ground water vaned between 43 12 feet and 25 60 feet,
respectively, at well MW-2 Based upon these data, it appears that water levels at the Site have
' risen approximately 17 5 feet during the period between October 1992 and February 1999 The
ground-water level at MW-2 rose approximately 1 1 feet during the quarterly period from
. November 1998 to February 1999
1
' 1
