' Work Plan Page 12 <br /> Former Manna Pro Site <br />' Project No 207 3 <br /> August 16, 1999 <br />' 4.2.4 ORC Slur Installation <br /> Slurry sta lahon <br />' This boring will be located down gradient of the air monitoring wells and about 15 feet <br /> up-gradient of the existing groundwater monitoring well, MW-6 The ORC boring will <br />' be backfilled with a 65% slurry of ORC and water Approximately 532 lbs of ORC <br /> would be needed to backfill the bottom 20 feet of the boring The remaining 30 feet, will <br /> be backfilled with cement grout The effectiveness of the ORC point will be assessed my <br />' monitoring contaminant levels and oxygen saturation in MW-6 The measurements will <br /> be conducted on a monthly basis for at least 6 months <br />' 4.3 Well Development <br /> Except for MWD-11, the new wells will not be used for routine groundwater sampling <br />' Nevertheless, the Vapor Extraction Well and Air Sparge Well and the deep monitoring <br /> well will be developed after the well sealing materials have set for at least 48 hours will <br /> be developed using mechanical surging and pumping, or bailing methods until a clear <br />' stream of water is generated This will be done to facilitate better air flow through the <br /> well filter pack material All development water will be containerized in 55 gallon DOT <br /> approved containers and stored on site until its disposal can be arranged <br /> 4.4 Waste Disposal <br /> All waste generated during the installation will be containerized in DOT approved <br /> containers to await proper disposal <br /> I <br /> 2937 Veneman Ave,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
