Former Manna Pro Site Page 2
Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report
' Project No 207 2
January 17,2001
' Between 1996 and the April of 2000, the principal remedial active consisted of
p activity
groundwater monitoring In April of 2000, a deep monitoring well (MW-11) was
constructed to characterize the vertical distribution of hydrocarbons in the subsurface At
the same time, a new vapor extraction well and an air sparge well were constructed as part
of a pilot remedial test program The construction of MW-11 was documented in the
quarterly monitoring report for the spring 2000 monitoring event The results of the pilot
test were documented in the July 31, 2000 report entitled Report. Remedial Action Pilot
Study, Former Manna Pro Site To date, a total of 11 groundwater monitoring wells, 5
observation wells, and three test wells have been constructed on or near the Manna Pro
site The San Joaquin County PHS-EHD recently concluded that the release at this site has
' been adequately characterized and directed that a Corrective Action Plan should be
submitted by the end of this month
1 1.2 Scope of Work
The following work was completed during this round of groundwater monitoring
' 1 The depth to groundwater was measured in 11 monitoring wells located on, or near the
site
lie 2 Groundwater monitoring included sample collection and subsequent laboratory analysis
from four wells Dissolved oxygen was measured in MW-6
1
1
2937 Veneman Ave,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc Phone(209)569-0293
Modesto,CA 95,356 Fax(209)569-0293
I
