El Dorado <br /> Stockton, California <br /> IOctober 20,2000 <br /> Project No 207 3 <br /> I <br /> The following sections summarize the results of a feasibility study of various remedial <br /> I • methods that could be used to mitigate a large gasoline release at the subject site <br /> Geo-Phase Environmental Inc conducted a pilot level vapor extraction and air sparge test to <br /> E evaluate the feasibility of using this in-situ remedial technology to mitigate soil and <br /> groundwater contamination at the subject site This work was completed pursuant to a <br /> directive to submit a feasibility study that would evaluate the remedial method most likely to <br /> Eresult in cost effective mitigation of the gasoline release at the subject site and ultimately <br /> allow for final site closure The results of the pilot work were recently documented in our <br /> report of July 31, 2000 entitled Report, Remedial Action Pilot Study, Former Manna Pro <br /> ESite <br /> E This Feasibility Study is based on the results documented in the above-cited report, as well as <br /> an earlier report by Groundwater Technologies Inc dated July 15, 1994 and a number of prior <br /> groundwater monitoring reports for the site <br /> I <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> EAs proposed in the original Work Plan dated August 16, 1999, this feasibility study was <br /> intended to assess the relative merits of four remedial options In brief, the four options are <br /> E <br /> • <br /> E2937 Veneman Ave, #6240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc Phone(209)569-0293 <br /> Modesto, CA 95356 Fax(209) 569-0295 <br /> E <br />
