TABL - CHECKLIST OF REQUIRED DATA
FOR NO FURTHER ACTION REQUESTS AT UNDERGROUND TANK SITES
Site Name and Location:: Martini Automotive, 4032 North EI Dorado Street, Stockton, San Joaquin County {
Y I. Distance to production wells for municipal, domestic, agriculture, 3 agricultural wells and 3 drinking water wells were ;
industry and other uses within 2000 feet of the site; identif<ed. The three nearest wells are about 1000 ft
from the site. Nearest surface water is 1.5 miles.
0 2. Site maps, to scale, of area impacted showing locations of former and existing tank A waste oil UST was removed in y
systems, excavation contours and sample locations, boring and 1998. Before, 3 former ARCO gas
and nearby surface waters, buildings, streets, and subsurface utilities; USTs were removed in 1974 at
the site. Maps are provided.
Y 3. Figures depicting lithology(cross section), tri9a tivent system diagFaFn Soils at the site consist of silty/clays and
silty sands/sands.
4. Stockpiled soil remaining on-site or off-site disposal Excavated soil and boring cuttings were placed back into
(quantity); UST excavation. Decided to leave the dirt in the pit because
of problems and high cost associated with the landfill.
0N 5. A vent line was also removed and backfilled with
grout. Soil samples collected from soil stockpile and 3 ft. under the end of the UST(about 7 ft. bgs) showed TPHg& TPHd
C ' up to 250 and 3500 mg/kg. TCE&PCE were detected at 19&220 ug/kg&PCB at 3500 ug/kg. On 16 March 2000, 5
borings were advanced. One boring was placed between two of the three former ARCO gasoline USTs. One boring
advanced beneath the former w/o UST and the other 3 surrounding the waste oil tank. TPHd, TPHmo, &PCE were only
i' detected in the boring directly beneath the former w/o tank at 5& 10 ft. at levels up to 420, 3100, &0.250 mg/kg. PCB was
i' below detection limit(<630pg/kg). TPHd, TPHmo, and PCE were non-detect at 20 ff.bgs in the soil. The detection limit for
Date: PCB dropped to <50pg/kg. Two grab groundwater samples were collected. One sample under the former gasoline USTs
and one under the former w/o UST. No constituents were detected under the former gasoline tanks: TPHd and PCE were
9/12/00 detected at 56 and 1.6 ug/L under the w/o tank. PCBs were not detected(<0.5 pg/L). The site is currently paved over with
asphalt, which should limit further leaching and transport of contaminants. This site should be reviewed if land use
changes. The site is not part of the redevelopment area.
