Cover the sample sleeve ends with Teflon sheets and plastic end cap,then seal with tape and <br /> store on ice pending transportation to a state-certified laboratory. <br /> 7. Label and log soil samples on a chain-of-custody form. <br /> 8. Selected soil samples will be analyzed in accordance with EPA Method 8015m/5030 for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline(TPH-g),diesel(TPH-d)and motor oil(TPH- <br /> mo), in accordance with EPA Method 8020 and for volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene, <br /> ethyl-benzene and xylenes: BTE&X), in accordance with EPA Method 8260/8240 for <br /> oxygenated volatile organic compounds, in accordance with EPA method for 6-LUFT <br /> metals, in accordance with EPA method 8080 PCBs if initially detected and halogenated <br /> volatile organic compounds (HVOCs) in accordance with EPA method 8010, if initially <br /> detected. <br /> 3.2. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and sample analyses, a report will be prepared. The report will <br /> include a summary of laboratory results and will include recommendations for further investigation, <br /> if necessary.The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and CVRWQCB.
