CASE NARRATIVE <br /> STL SACRAMENTO PROJECT NUMBER G4I020177 <br /> General Comments <br /> The tests for PAH and BTEX were placed on hold pending the TPHD results per the request <br /> of Matt Wright on September 2, 2004 even though the sample holding times for the tests may <br /> expire prior to analysis. The decision to remove sample 1 from hold was made by Matt <br /> Wright on September 9,2004. <br /> SOLID,BTEX by 8021B <br /> Sample: 1 <br /> The MS/MSD(matrix spike/matrix spike duplicate)recoveries m xylene and p-xylene were <br /> outside of stated control limits. The recoveries for this analyte in the LCS (laboratory control <br /> sample)was within control and the RPD(relative percent difference)between the MS/MSD <br /> was within control,the data is therefore accepted. <br /> The MSD recovery for o-xylene was outside of stated control limits. The recovery for this <br /> analyte in the LCS was within control and the RPD between the MS/MSD was within control, <br /> the data is therefore accepted. <br /> There were no other anomalies associated with this project. <br /> G4020177 STL-Sacramento(916)373-5600 1 of 33 <br />
