Sasson: <br /> On 27 September and on 13 Novetnber -1996, four soil probe borings (P-1 through P-4) -,were <br /> advanced at a northern section of the site. Sol? probe borings were advanced to maximum depths of <br /> fourty-five feet bs`T, using,AGE's van-rnout:ted Geoprobe 5,400 probing unit and 1.125-inch dianie��r <br /> probe rods. The location: of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 - Luca-lion :Wap_ Soil probe t?ori.;g <br /> locations are depicted on Figure 2 - . i;e PIWIL <br /> Discrete soil s3.nples «ere collected roini each soil probe boring atfive-foot intervals beginning at <br /> fifteen-feet bs-, using a Geoprobe soil sampler assembly loaded with four pre-cleaned 1.125-ii:ch by <br /> 6-inch brass sleeves. Upon retrieval, the ends of the second brass sleeve were covered «with Teflon <br /> sheets, capped and sealed with tape.
