We are requesting a drilling <br /> permit to drill 3 or 4 soil borings near the existing gasoline tank cavity and 2 soil borings <br /> in the proposed tank cavity. The borings will be grouted to surface ; no vapor wells will be <br /> installed. We will submit the analytical results of the soil samples to your agency. If <br /> hydrocarbons are detected, ARCO will request the site be included in the pilot program and <br /> we will apply for a second permit to drill and install vapor-extraction wells. <br /> Please call Eloise Frick at 916-452-2901 when you issue the permit so the drilling operation <br /> can be scheduled promptly.
