The existing manifold will be cut off near the j
surface of the concrete pad with an appropriate tool and will be capped . The air sparge
compressor and SVE system will be removed and disposed of by Stantec. The existing
electrical meter panel will be disconnected, secured, and tagged for potential future use. !
Investigation of the below grade portion will include pressure testing the existing piping to
determine integrity and possible reuse in future remediation activities . Well and vault boxes will
be opened and the existing piping will be documented for future reuse.
i
A site wide utility survey will also be conducted to accurately locate the existing sparge lines and i
provide utility information for future planning purposes. ff
I
SCHEDULE NU 11 TNiN
Stantec is currently scheduled to perform this work on August 2 and 31 2010. Data collected
during this activity will be used to aid in development of a Feasibility Study that will be submitted
to SJCEHD approximately six weeks after field activities are completed .
i
2130 Response Letter - Remediation System Removal.doc 2
