The screened interval <br /> f tine well closest to the fill port of the existing tanks will extend from appro:amately 12 to <br /> ;;et below grade. The screened interval in the remaining vapor-extraction wells drilled <br /> near the tank caviti will extend from approximately 15 to 25 feet below grade. if the <br /> borings extend deeper than the well depths,the borings will be backfilled with a bentonite- <br /> cement slurry to the appropriate depth before imtalling the well. <br /> If results of laboratory analyses indicate soil samples collected from the base of the tank <br /> cavity excavation contain hydrocarbons in concentrations that warrant remediation, a <br /> six conductor-casings, two between each tank,-will be-installed-from-the base-..------------- ---------------------------- <br /> of the tanks -n ''1e ground surface.
