I <br /> MA <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> I <br /> 3164 Gold Camp Drive <br /> Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 <br /> Phone (916)852-6690 <br /> Fax (916) 852-6688 <br /> t <br /> July 31, 1992 <br /> Mr Kyle Christie <br /> i ARCO Products Company <br /> P O Box 5811 <br /> San Mateo, California 94402 <br /> Subject Status Report and Ground-Water Monitoring, Second Quarter 1992, for <br /> ARCO Service Station No 21.30, 7906 North El Dorado Street, Stockton, <br /> California <br /> Mr Christie <br /> At the request of ARCO Products Company (ARCO), RESNA Industries (RESNA) has <br /> prepared this status report on work conducted during the second quarter 1992 at the subject <br /> site (shown on Plate 1) Work included measuring depths to water and collecting ground- <br /> water samples for subjective analyses on a monthly basis and collecting ground-water <br /> samples for Iaboratory analyses on a quarterly basis This work was conducted to monitor <br /> the concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons in ground water and to evaluate the direction <br /> and gradient of ground-water flow beneath the site The locations of the monitoring wells <br /> are shown on Plate 2 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Work performed to date includes drilling eight soil borings and installing four vapor- <br /> extraction wells and three ground-water monitoring wells at the site (RESNA, February 14, <br /> 1992, Report No 30003-4) Residual hydrocarbons were detected in soil to 60 feet below <br /> grade at the ground-water interface near the existing tanks, and dissolved hydrocarbons were <br /> detected at concentrations above maximum contaminant levels (MCL's) in water sampled <br /> from the three onsite ground-water monitoring wells <br /> 0521kchr <br /> 30003-6 <br />
