(RESNA) is <br /> conducting an environmental investigation at the subject site (shown on Plate 1). ..We have <br /> prepared this status report on the work conducted duffing the fourth.quarter. 1993. Work <br /> included installing two groundwater monitoring wells offsite, conducting groundwater <br /> monitoring and the installation of.piping for the remediation system. The locations of the <br /> wells are shown on Plate 2. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Environmental work performed at the site has included drilling-20 soil, borings onsite and <br /> two'borings offsite and installing ten:..vapor-'extraction wells, five groundwater monitoring <br /> wells onsite and-two offsite, one air sparge well, and three sparge monitoring points in the <br /> borings at the site. Residual hydrocarbons were detected in soil'to' 60 feet below grade at <br /> the groundwater interface near the existing tanks; however,.gasoline hydrocarbons were not <br /> detected in the offsite soil-borings. Dissolved hydrocarbons were detected at concentrations <br /> above Maximum Contaminant Levels in water sampled from the five onsite and two-offsite <br /> groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> 1213ccar/30003-9 <br /> V <br />
