Data obtained from Emcon is presented in the Appendix to this report <br /> The locations of the monitoring wells are shown on Plate 2 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> I Environmental work performed at the site has included drilling 20 soil borings onsite and <br /> two borings offsite and installing ten vapor-extraction wells, five ground-water monitoring <br /> wells onsite and two offsite, one air sparge well, and three sparge monitoring points in the <br /> borings at the site Residual hydrocarbons were detected in soil to 60 feet below grade at <br /> the ground-water interface near the existing tanks, however, gasoline hydrocarbons were not <br />' detected in the offsite soil borings Dissolved hydrocarbons were detected at concentrations <br /> above maximum contaminant levels in water sampled from the five onsite and two offsite <br /> ground-water monitoring wells <br /> 0429kchr <br /> 30003-9 <br /> I <br />
