Page 3 of 23 Standard Operating Procedures <br /> Health and Safety Plans <br /> 2.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY PERSONNEL DESIGNATIONS <br /> Office Health and Safety Manager <br /> The Office Health and Safety Manager (OHSM) assures that the policies and procedures of the <br /> HASP are implemented by the SHSM The OHSM is responsible for providing the appropriate <br /> monitoring and safety equipment and other resources necessary in implementing the HASP. The <br /> OHSM ensures that all personnel designated to work on-site are qualified according to applicable <br /> EPA, OSHA and state requirements <br /> Site Health and Safety Manager <br /> The Site Health and Safety Manager (SHSM) will be present on-site during the conduct of field <br /> operations, will be responsible for health and safety activities and has the authority to make all <br /> health and safety related decisions The determination of hazard levels will be made by the <br /> SHSM in consultation with the OHSM The SHSM has stop-work authorization which he or she <br /> will execute upon determination of an imminent safety hazard, emergency situation, or other <br /> potentially dangerous situation, such as detrimental weather conditions Authorization to proceed <br /> with work will be issued by the OHSM in consultation with the Principal Manager (PM) after <br /> such action The SHSM or PM will initiate and execute all contact with emergency facilities <br /> and personnel when this action is appropriate <br /> ROUX ASSOCIATES HASP 4193 7905 North F3 Dorado Strect <br /> Stockton.Californre <br />
