Johnson <br /> Consultant Project No: 20805-114.008 <br /> Primary Agency/Regulatory ID No: Mike Infurna, San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER (Second 1997): <br /> f <br /> 1. EMCON performed routine quarterly groundwater sampling and monitoring. In addition, EMCON <br /> collected groundwater samples from vapor extraction wells VW-1, VW-7,VW-8, and VW-12 at the <br /> suggestion of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS). <br /> 2. EMCON compiled and evaluated groundwater monitoring data. <br /> 3. EMCON conducted routine operation and maintenance (O&M) of the remediation system. <br /> 4. EMCON conducted routine O&M of the air sparge system. <br /> 5. EMCON collected air samples from the soil vapor extraction (SVE) system on a quarterly basis to <br /> evaluate system performance. <br /> 6. EMCON monitored the dissolved oxygen (DO levels in groundwater to evaluate the performance of <br /> the air sparge system.) <br /> 7. EMCON evaluated the remediation system performance. <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (Third 1997): <br /> 1. ARCO will continue to perform routine quarterly groundwater monitoring. The next sampling event is <br /> tentatively scheduled for August 1997. <br /> 2. EMCON will collect DO and other data to evaluate natural biodegradation at the site. <br /> 3. EMCON will pulse the remediation system and will continue to monitor and optimize the performance <br /> of the remediation system. <br /> 4.
