Pinal Drive <br /> 'r Stockton, California 95205-2551 <br /> Subject: Underground Tank Removal Report <br /> Stockton Unified School District Transportation Center <br /> (HLI 00811) <br /> Dear Mr. Leubner: <br /> This report presents the results of soil sampling conducted during the removal of five underground <br /> storage tanks in December 1996 and January 1997 at Stockton Unified School District's (SUSD) <br /> Transportation Center located at 1932 North Pinal Drive. Three of the tanks were located near the <br /> r back of the Transportation Center(T5, T6 and T7) and two tanks (T 1 and T2) were located in front <br /> =` of the Auto and Bus Garage(see Figure 1). The product stored in the tanks and their sizes were: <br /> Tank No. Product Stored Size <br /> Tl Gasoline,unleaded 12,000 gal. <br /> T2 Gasoline, leaded 8,000 gal. <br /> T5 Diesel 10,000 gal. <br /> 76 Diesel 10,000 gal. <br /> 1` T7 Diesel 12,000 gal. <br /> The remainder of this report includes brief summaries of the tank removal activities and sampling <br /> !_= <br /> procedures, tabulated summaries of the laboratory results, a site map indicating sample locations, <br /> f ' copies of laboratory data sheets, and conclusions regarding the need for further investigations of the <br /> tank and pipeline trench sites. <br /> - GENERAL REMOVAL PROCEDURES <br /> Ramos Environmental Engineering of West Sacramento was the general contractor for the removal <br /> :1 of the underground storage tanks and the construction of the new fueling facility which was nearing <br /> completion when the tanks were removed. <br />
