However, the distance from the source <br /> supplemental fuel is over 300 feet away, at the west end of the golf course lodge. Therefore <br /> supplemental fuel considerations require an alteration of the soil vapor extraction unit specification. <br /> High fuel consumption is a consideration in the use and effectiveness of an SVE operation. Fuel <br /> consumption by thermal oxidizing soil-vapor extraction unit or a catalytic gas-fire oxidation unit is <br /> very High. Therefore,AGE proposes the use of liquid propane driven Internal Combustion Engine <br /> (IC)SVE unit at the maintenance area, This source of fuel is available,can be placed at the SVE unit <br /> and is Iess expensive then natund gas, based on volumes used.
