Box 388 Stockton, Ca 95201 Subject: Soil Vapor Extraction Pilot Test ELKHORN COUNTRY CLUB 1050 Elkhorn Drive, Stockton, California Dear Mr. Sasson: In accordance with a request from Mr. Bob Young of the Elkhorn Country Club, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared for the installation of soil vapor extraction/in-situ air sparging wells and the performance of a soil vapor extraction pilot test at 1050 Elkhorn Drive in Stockton, California (the site). The pilot test is performed in accordance with requirements of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and California Code of Regulations Title 23 guidelines for feasibility evaluations of contaminated underground storage tank (UST) sites. Soil contamination at the site has been defined by the analytical data from previous investigations(see Cross Section) and ground water contamination is defined within the vicinity of the former UST location(see Quarterly Report- September 1995). The establishment of two soil vapor extraction/ in-situ air sparging wells (see Well Design), on the northeast side of the maintenance building (see Site Plan) , should be adequate to perform the pilot test. In addition, the wells would be optimally located for the implementation of a full scale remedial action, utilizing in-situ soil vapor extraction and in-situ air sparging of the ground water contaminants.
