<=< QUARTERLY REPORT
! Elkhorn Country Club
1050 Elkhorn Drive
Stockton, CA
I
June 1995
r=
1 A. INTRODUCTION
E
In accordance with a request from Mr. Bob Young of Elkhorn Country Club, Advanced
GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report. This report details the activities
la
performed during the second quarter of 1995 at 1050 Elkhorn Drive in Stockton, California (the site).
Each monitoring well at the site was purged and sampled. The location of the site is illustrated in
Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2.
The monitoring and sampling is performed in accordance with Tri-Regional Board and San Joaquin
County Public Health Department -Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) guidelines for the
investigation of underground storage tank sites.
I` s . 2.0. Two soil samples were collected from beneath the tank at depths of 10 and 10.5
feet. The samples were analyzed by a state-certified laboratory for total petroleum hydrocarbons
quantified as gasoline(TPH-g), volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes:
BTE&X), total lead and ethylene dibromide(EDB). No EDB or lead were detected in the samples.
= However, TPH-g and volatile aromatics were detected in the soil samples at concentrations up to 480
parts per million(ppm).
I 2.3. MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION AND ASSESSMENT
- On 20 June 1994, one soil boring(B-1)was drilled at the site. The boring was drilled near the center
