4 May 1995
" AGE-NC-95-0118
I:..
Since March 1995, concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons decreased siginificantly in MW-3.
Howver, hydrocarbons concentrations in MW-2 during the June 1995 sampling were nearly identical
!s to concentrations detected during the March 1995 sampling.
The lateral extent of the impacted ground water has not been fully defined at the site. AGE plans to
ja install two addtional ground water montioring wells at the site in September 1995. An addendum
concerning the proposed locations of the monitoring wells will be prepared after ground water depth
measurements have been collected in July and August 1995.
5.2. HYDROCARBON-IMPACTED SOIL AND GROUND WATER REMEDIATION
Hydrocarbon-impacted soil remains at the site in the area of the former UST excavation. Upon
r completion of the assessment of ground water at the site, feasiblity studies should be performed to
!' determine the most cost-effective method of soil and ground water remediation:
6.0. LIMITATIONS.
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
`. environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
=, conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of available
data points(i.e. monitoring wells, soil samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these
data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional recommendations
contained in this report.
.:i
i'`I
