�I <br /> " QUARTERLY REPORT <br /> Elkhorn Country Club <br /> 1050 Elkhorn Drive <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> December 1994 <br /> -1 <br /> -I <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr. Bob Young of the Elkhorn Country Club, Geological <br /> `i Audit Services, Inc. (GeoAudit) has performed quarterly monitoring activities at 1050 <br /> Elkhorn Drive in Stockton, California (the site). Each monitoring well at the site was purged <br /> and sampled during the fourth quarter of 1994. The location of the site is illustrated in <br /> Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1 Site Location <br /> ' Elkhorn Country Club is located in a flat rural/residential area north of Stockton, in San <br /> Joaquin County, California (Figure 1). The area of investigation is Iocated east of the Pro <br /> Shop, immediately adjacent to the maintenance building (Figure 2). <br /> 2.2 UST Removal <br /> It is our understanding that one 1,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST) was <br /> removed from the site in 1991. Two soil samples «•ere collected from beneath the tank at <br /> jdepths of 10 and 10.5 feet. The samples were analyzed by a state-certified laboratory for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPH as gasoline),volatile aromatics(BTE&X), total lead and <br /> ethylene dibromide (EDB). No EDB or lead were detected in the samples. However, <br /> volatile aromatics and TPH as gasoline were detected in the soil samples at concentrations <br /> up to 480 parts per million (ppm). <br /> 2.3 Monitoring Well Installation and Assessment <br /> On rune 20, 1994, one soil boring (B-1) was drilled at the site. The boring was drilled near <br /> the center of the former underground storage tank (UST), and advanced to a depth of 38 <br /> feet.
