r-I
f f 4.4 Analytical Results of Groundwater Samples
TPH as gasoline was detected in groundwater samples from MW-2 and MW-3 at
concentrations of 9,500 ppb and 1,200 ppb, respectively. Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene
and xylenes were detected in samples from MW-2 and MW-3 at concentrations as great as
1,600 ppb (toluene, MW-2).
TPH as gasoline was detected in MW-1 at a concentration of 280 ppb. However, a review
of laboratory chromatograms indicate that the detected hydrocarbons more closely resemble
j diesel or kerosine-range compounds (Mr. Ed Hamilton, MAI). No BTE&X were detected
I
in MW-1.
The analytical results of all groundwater samples are summarized in Table 3.The laboratory
reports and chains-of-custody are included in Appendix C.
r
TABLE 3
ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF WATER SAMPLES
Elkhorn Country Club
1050 Elkhorn Drive, Stockton, California
O'er`)
i ;
` Sample ID Gasoline TPH as Benzene Toluene Ethyl-benzene Xylene
MW-119-2-94 280 ND ND ND ND
r MW-219-2-94 9,500 500 1,600 330 1,500
MW-319-2-94 1,200 58 230 36 170
u$/( = parts per billion(ppb)
r ND = None Detected
I
5.0 CONCLUSIONS
5.1 Hydrocarbon Impacted Soil
Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in the soil samples from B-1 to depths of 35 feet,
d
water.
