1
Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc. -
25 Mav 2001
AGE-NC Project No. 95-0115
Ms. Margaret Lagorio
San Joaquin County Public Health - Environmental Health Division
304 East Weber Avenue, Third floor
Stockton, California 95202.
Subject: Receptor Well Survey
ELKHORN COUNTRY CLUB
1050 Elkhorn Drive, Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Lagorio:
At your direction,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared a receptor well survey for
the Elkhorn Country Club site, located at 1050 Elkhorn Drive in Stockton. A soil vapor
extraction/air-sparging system had been operated at the site to remediate hydrocarbon-impacted
ground water. Dissolved hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water have been less than detectable
concentration for several quarterly sampling events. Confirmation soil samples collected-from the
former UST area demonstrated a significant decrease of hydrocarbon concentration in soil.
As required by California Regional Water Quality Control - Central Valley Region guidelines for
site closure and your office a receptor well survey of wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the
hydrocarbon-release site has been conducted to identify well location, construction and use. The
scope of the work included an area reconnaissance to identify visible potential receptors (address and
location), a review of files and records available from the San Joaquin County Public Health Service
- Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD), Department of Water Resources (DWR) and San
Joaquin County Public Works Department (SJCOPWD).
RESULTS
Based on the visual observations and data collected from the listed regulatory agencies the following
wells were located in the search area.
• One irrigation well services the site. This well is located approximately 1,000 feet cast of the
former UST location. The construction details for the.well are not readily documented and
are not know.
i Two domestic or utility wells were located in the search area. San Joaquin Country maintaitls
two domestic water wells within the search area, designated Well 91 and Well 92. Well #1
is located 1,250 feet northwest of the former UST and Well #2 is located 1,000 feet north to
northwest of the forinel3l-74a*13aad,Stockton, California 95215
Telephone (209) 467-1006 FAX(209) 467-1118
